It will be a cool Saturday due to ‘amihan’ says Pagasa

The country will generally experience cool weather on Saturday due to the northeast monsoon or hanging amihan, the state weather bureau said.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the northern and central sections of the country will also have generally cloudy skies and isolated showers caused by the northeast monsoon.

The Bicol region and Quezon province meanwhile will have cloudy skies with scatted rains and isolated thunderstorms. Pagasa warns residents in these areas to brace for possible flashfloods and landslides.

Meanwhile, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Aurora province will experience cloudy skies with light rains.
