1 killed, 3 hurt in Ecija motorcycle collision

ZARAGOZA, NUEVA ECIJA-A 28-year-old man was killed while three others were wounded in a 12:15 a.m. motorcycle collision on Friday (Mar. 9) along the Zaragosa-Tarlac Road in barangay (village) Sto. Rosario town in Zaragoza town, Nueva Ecija.

Reynaldo Solomon was killed when the motorcycle he was driving was struck by a second motorcycle piloted by 22-year-old Jhon Lester Gutierrez, causing the riders and their passengers to be thrown off.

Solomon was pronounced dead on arrival at the La Paz Medicare Center in Tarlac province. Gutierrez, his back rider Arnold Sarmiento, Jr., 24, and Solomon’s passenger Alvin Mauricio, 28, were hurt and were treated at the Paulino J. Garcia Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in Cabanatuan City.

Charges of reckless imprudence resulting to homicide and physical injuries are being readied against Gutierrez.
