8 nabbed in Cavite, Rizal anti-drug operations

SAN PEDRO CITY – Eight people were arrested in pre-dawn police operations against illegal drugs in Cavite and Rizal provinces on Wednesday.

In Rizal, police arrested Mikaela Shiela Pamittan and Aristotle Edusma after they sold five sachets of suspected shabu to undercover policemen.

A report from the Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) police said the operation happened around 1 a.m. in Barangay Guitnang Bayan 1.

In Barangay San Vicente, Angono town, four were arrested also in a buy-bust operation past midnight.

The police recovered five sachets of suspected drugs from suspects Willie Mallari, Liezel Panza, and German and Lizza, both surnamed Rullan.

In Dasmariñas City, Cavite, Chino Trinidad and Alhene Balboa were arrested around 1:30 a.m. in Barangay Salitran.

They allegedly sold to an undercover policeman a sachet of suspected shabu, but when frisked, yielded three more packets of illegal drugs, the police added. /lb
