‘Poll bets should submit resume’ –Namfrel

The Department of the Interior and Local Government supports the suggestion of the National Citizens Movement for Free Elections  (Namfrel) to require all candidates for the village and youth elections to submit a one-page resumé to prove their suitability for the elective posts.

Assistant Interior Secretary Jonathan Malaya said the recommendation of Namfrel “will complement the ongoing campaign of the department for the election of Matino, Mahusay at Maaasahang Barangay and SK [Sangguniang Kabataan] officials.” —Nikko Dizon
