19-year-old worker shot dead in Pasig City

Two unidentified men gunned down a 19-year-old construction worker in Pasig City early Sunday morning, the police said.

A spot report of the Pasig City police identified the victim as Junnel Martinez.

The report said two men shot Martinez several times at about 5 a.m. inside Villa Evanglelista Compound in Barangay Palatiw.

The Pasig Rescue Team responded to the scene but the killers had already fled on foot.

Recovered from the crime scene were eight spend bullet casings of a still unknown caliber. /cbb
