Cops nab man carrying gun in Lanao Sur
ILIGAN CITY-Police authorities in Buadipuso-Buntong town in Lanao del Sur arrested a man, who was reportedly walking with a gun.
Senior Inspector Jemar delos Santos, spokesperson of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) police, identified the arrested suspect as 19-year-old Asnor Dimnatang.
Delos Santos said patrolling policemen saw Dimnatang walking in Barangay Lumbatan Pata-ingud with a 9-millimeter pistol tucked on his waist.

When checked, Dimnatang could not present any document to prove he was authorized to carry a gun.

He was taken into custody and his handgun confiscated.
Dimnatang, who was being held at the Buadipuso-Buntong police detention cell, faces charges for violation of the gun law, according to delos Santos.
