A total of 933 out of 1,983 examinees passed the February 2018 mechanical engineering licensure examinations, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Friday, March 2.
Kelvin Mendoza Macatangay of the Batangas State University-Alangilan topped the licensure exams after posting an 88.75 percent rating.
Batangas State University-Alangilan also dominated the list of top performing schools in the licensure exams, registering an 99.15 percent passing rate with 117 out of 118 successful examinees.
With the 933 passers, the PRC said the results showed a 47.05 percent national passing rate.

The PRC said the registration for the issuance of professional identification cards and certificates of registration will be conducted from March 7 to March 16. The registration would be done on-line via www.prc.gov.ph.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees would be announced later, the PRC said.
