More than 5K job openings at QC fair

More than 5,000 local and overseas jobs are up for grabs at the Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan job and business fair at Quezon City Hall on Feb. 25, in celebration of the 32nd anniversary of the Edsa People Power Revolution.

A total of 15 companies and recruitment agencies are participating, according to Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III.

Around 10 recruitment agencies are also looking to fill up 5,000 job orders for Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Papua New Guinea, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan and Malaysia.

Interested applicants should bring a resume, 2×2 ID photos, certificate of employment for those formerly employed, diploma or transcript of records and an authenticated birth certificate. —Julie M. Aurelio
