/ 04:24 PM February 20, 2018

An abducted 10-year-old girl managed to escape her captors a few hours after her abduction on Monday in Mandaluyong City.

The victim was walking on her way home when a van stopped her and three unidentified men dragged her inside the van, an incident report from Mandaluyong police said.

Investigation showed that the suspects covered her nose and mouth with a handkerchief “that made her dizzy.” She was also blindfolded by the suspects.

The van stopped over and the suspects removed her blindfold. The suspects alighted from the vehicle.

“She then stabbed one of the suspects using her ballpen before she ran away,” the report said.
