990AM: Low pressure area forming over South China Sea, to bring rain to Mindoro

MANILA, Philippines – Even before Typhoon “Chedeng” could exit the country, a low pressure area has been spotted developing in the South China Sea, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in a report on Radyo Inquirer 990AM Friday.

The weather disturbance is expected bring heavy rains of 100 millimeters to the province of Mindoro over the weekend, the report quoted Robert Sawi, Pagasa weather division officer-in-charge, as saying. Danica Hermogenes, INQUIRER.net
