Cop shot while responding to a shooting incident in Sarangani town
KORONADAL CITY – A police officer was in critical condition after he was shot while responding to a shooting incident in Malungon, Sarangani on Friday.
Chief Inspector Aldrin Gonzales, speaking for the Central Mindanao police, said Police Officer 1 Jared Bogador, an intelligence operative of Malungon police office, was shot by a certain Pedro Donasco at about 9:30 a.m.
Gonzales said Bogador was responding to a reported shooting incident in Barangay Datal Tampal when the suspect opened fire on him.

The gunman quickly fled after the shooting while Bogador was rushed to the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gen. Santos City.
He said Donasco was still at large and was being pursued.
