GAMU, ISABELA — Two people died in a four-vehicle collision involving three ten-wheeler trucks and a tricycle along the national highway on Thursday, police said.

Gamu police head Chief Insp. Richard Limbo said the incident happened around 4:55 p.m. along the national highway in Upi village.

Michael Sanchez, 38, project contractor of Ilagan City; and Crismel Delos Santos, 40, were killed when their tricycle crashed into a ten-wheeler truck driven by Alex Siazon,42, that had collided with a second ten-wheeler truck driven by Rommel Ubando, 39, the Gamu police chief said.

The tricycle was subsequently pinned by a third ten-wheeler truck driven by Kerwin Dalog, 30, who fled after the crash.                     /kga
