BALIWAG, Bulacan — About 500 families displaced from geologically hazardous areas and irrigation waterways will be given priority in a low-cost condominium project here to be put up by Bulacan Humanitarian Group, a local civic group.

A total of 480 units measuring 34 square meters each will be built on a 1.1-hectare property in Barangay San Roque here.

The houses will be ready for occupancy in 2019. Beneficiaries will be asked to pay a monthly amortization of P1,100 within 25 years.

Financed by the Socialized Housing Finance Corp., the project was launched on Feb. 10. —Carmel Reyes-Estrope
