Senator Antonio Trillanes IV mocked the remarks of President Rodrigo Duterte, who claimed he would “sell his soul to the devil” just to give repatriating overseas Filipino workers (OFW) a comfortable life in the Philippines.

The senator, a staunch critic of the President, did not finish his statement as he opted to end his interview with the media.
In a speech in Malacañang on Tuesday, Duterte lamented the reported abuses being committed against overseas Filipino workers abroad, citing as example the discovery of the body of 29-year-old- Joanna Demafelis inside a freezer of her employers in Kuwait.

“You come home and I will sell my soul to the devil to look for money so that you can come home and live comfortably here,” the President said in a speech in Malacañang.
