THE country’s no. 1 tennis player Johnny Arcilla will be in town next week for the inauguration of the Consolacion Tennis Courts.
Work on the Consolacion Tennis Courts, which has been refurbished by the Cebu International Tennis Centre Inc. (CITCI) as one of its first projects to promote grassroots tennis in Cebu, is finally done and will be inaugurated on Nov. 26.
As part of the whole day activity, Arcilla will face off with Jason Sankey of Hong Kong SAR in an exhibition match.
An exhibition doubles event will also be held, which will feature Filipinos Kennex Abadia and RJ Abarquez going up against the tandem of Graeme Foster and Adrian Montesinos (HK-SAR).
A free tennis clinic will also be held for kids aged 5 to 18 years old. Those interested will be required to fill up a registration form which could be downloaded through Facebook: Cebu International Tennis Center Inc.
Registration could be submitted at the Consolacion Tennis Courts through Coach Warren Alivio or at CITCI office at Rm. 103, 18 Cherry Court Bldg., Gen. Maxilom Avenue, Cebu City.
Deadline of registration will on Nov. 25.
