3 ‘frat men’ tagged in Makati teen’s slay

The police are looking for three suspects in the fatal stabbing of an 18-year-old high school student in Makati City on Friday.

The Makati police identified the victim as John Ernest Rivera, a resident of Barangay La Paz, who was ganged up on by four men reportedly belonging to a street fraternity called Youth Scorpion.

Senior Insp. Sherwin Mauray said Rivera and his friends were in front of San Antonio National High School campus on Mayapis corner Caong streets around 4:20 p.m. when they were attacked.

Rivera sustained five stab wounds and was brought to Sta. Ana Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.

Police relied on a security camera footage of the commotion to identify four suspects: Ryan Joseph Bardiquillo, Leo Villanaba, Earlbert Solera and a 16-year-old boy.
