P100-M worth of cocaine found off Divilacan in Isabela
CITY OF CAUAYAN – A blue plastic container filled with 21-kilos of cocaine was found floating on waters off Divilacan town in Isabela province on Tuesday morning (Feb. 6), police said.
Two speedboat operators spotted the container about 100 meters from the shore, and discovered 8 packs of white crystalline substance, which were carefully sealed with packaging tape, said Senior Inspector Jonathan Ramos, Divilacan police chief.
Divilacan Mayor Venturito Bulan said they turned over the contraband to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency. The Police Crime Laboratory in Tuguegarao City tested the substance and concluded that it was cocaine.
