Man on drugs watchlist nabbed in Cavite

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agents arrested a man on the drugs watch-list and two of his accomplices in a buy-bust operation in Cavite.

PDEA Director General Aaron N. Aquino, in a report released Sunday, identified the watch-listed drug personality as Sanqui Nomer, 45, and his companions as Reseff Cruz, 30, and Efren Sabeniano, 53.

The report showed that agents from PDEA Regional Office IV-A (PDEA ROIV-A) under the Director Archie A. Grande, performed a buy-bust operation last Jan. 29 at the Walter Mart parking lot in Barangay Mabuhay, Carmona town in Cavite.

Seized from the suspects were five sachets of suspected shabu weighing 70 grams with a street value of P350,000.

The suspects will be charged for violating Republic Act 9165, or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. /cbb
