Prelim probe on Ramgen’s absent sis reset to Nov. 25

/ 12:10 AM November 19, 2011

The Parañaque City prosecutor’s office  yesterday gave Ramona Bautista, one of  two alleged masterminds in the Oct. 28  killing of her older sibling Ramgen and the wounding of his girlfriend Janelle Manahan,  another chance to submit her counteraffidavit in which she is expected to deny the allegations against her.

Parañaque City Assistant Prosecutor Leah Roma reset the preliminary investigation to Nov. 25. This   would determine whether Ramona should be indicted for murder and frustrated murder,  after Roma rejected a sworn statement the suspect purportedly sent to her younger sister Ragene for filing yesterday.

Roma did not receive the document submitted by Ragene on her absent sister’s behalf since  Ramona, who has been linked to the case along with her brother RJ and  five others, is required to be present.

Ramona’s whereabouts remain unknown after she left the country for Turkey on Nov. 4,  exiting the following  day for an unknown destination.
