3 drug pushers collared in Lucena buy-bust

LUCENA CITY–Police arrested three suspected street-level drug pushers here, two of them women, on Friday.

Senior Supt. Rhoderick Armamento, said anti-illegal drug operatives arrested Faith Calleja Regodon, 24, Rochelle Dayon Tolentino, 24, and Reniel Zeta Daleon, 26, after the three sold crystal meth or “shabu” to an undercover policeman inside a subdivision in Barangay (village) Mayao Crossing at 12:40 p.m.

Using information gathered from former drug users who have surrendered, police seized from the suspects eight sachets of shabu weighing 20 grams worth P37,000 from the suspects.

Armamento said the arrested suspects were connected to a local drug group that has link to the Alcala drug syndicate.

The renewed police “Oplan Tokhang” drug campaign was relaunched last Monday. The suspects were detained at the city police jail.
