The state weather agency said on Friday that the northeast monsoon or hanging amihan will continue to bring rain over Northern Luzon while the easterlies will affect the eastern section of the country.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), overcast skies with scattered rain are expected over Cagayan Valley and Aurora while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain will be experienced in Ilocos and the Cordillera Administrative Region due to the northeast monsoon.
Meanwhile, the weather bureau said that the easterlies would bring cloudy skies with rain and thunderstorms over Eastern Visayas and Caraga region.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain, Pagasa said. /kga
