Bedol also served warrant for electoral sabotage
MANILA, Philippines – A warrant of arrest has been served to Lintang Bedol, a co-accused in the electoral sabotage case filed against former President Gloria Macapagl-Arroyo, Philippine National Police spokesman Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr. said Friday.
Cruz said personnel of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-National Capital Region (CIDG-NCR) served the arrest warrant to the former Maguindanao election supervisor at the Camp Crame detention center at 6:15 p.m. Friday.
“[Bedol] was properly booked and documented and remains in the custody of the PNP Custodial Center,” Cruz said.
He said the warrant of arrest would be returned to the Pasay regional trial court Branch 112 as soon as possible.
