Amihan, trough of LPA affecting PH; expect cloudy skies, rain – Pagasa

The northeast monsoon and a trough of low pressure area (LPA) will bring overcast skies with scattered rain across the country this Thursday, the state weather bureau said.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the northeast monsoon continues to be the dominant weather system in Cagayan Valley region while the trough of LPA is affecting Davao region and Soccsksargen.

Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain are expected over Ilocos, Cordillera region, Metro Manila, and the rest of the country.            /kga
