DOH taps LRT 2 as campaign vehicle

/ 05:01 AM January 31, 2018

The Department of Health (DOH) has partnered with the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) for the use of LRT Line 2 trains as an advertising vehicle.

Launched on Tuesday, the “DOH Train Wrap” project had one of the trains sporting eye-catching livery promoting DOH campaigns, such as the call for blood donations, immunization, dengue prevention, proper hand washing, etc.

Inside the train, passengers can read DOH posters providing various health and medical tips.

The project will run for three months at a cost of P 4 million to the DOH.

Health Secretary Francisco Duque III welcomed the partnership, saying the DOH would ask the LRTA to extend Train Wrap by two more months. —Julie M. Aurelio
