After repeated absence from its hearings, the Senate committee on public information and mass media has decided to issue a subpoena to Cocoy Dayao, the person allegedly behind the blog “Silent No More.”

Aside from Dayao, committee chair Senator Grace Poe agreed to likewise send subpoenas to Facebook and Google upon the motion of Senator Manny Pacquiao during Tuesday’s hearing.

Dayao is said to be behind the blog “Silent No More,” where he branded as seven senators “Malacanang dogs” for not signing a resolution, condemning alleged extrajudicial killings in the country.

Poe herself has expressed her disappointment over Dayao’s repeated absence in the hearings.
