BACOLOD CITY-At least 40 passengers were brought to the hospital after the Ocean Jet fast craft they were riding hit the dock of the Bacolod Real Estate Development Corporation port at the Reclamation Area in Bacolod City, past 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

Lt. Jimmy Oliver Vingno, Philippine Coast Guard-Bacolod head, said the throttle of the Ocean Jet 7 malfunctioned about 50 meters away from the BREDCO port.

Most of the passengers suffered dizziness while some had minor scratches. They were brought to the Bacolod Adventist Medical Center, Vingno said.
