Motorcycle-riding suspects shot dead a man waiting for a ride under the Metro Rail Transit-3 (MRT-3) Magallanes Station in Makati City on Thursday morning.

The body of the still unidentified man was found under the northbound lane of the train station, Radyo Inquirer 990 AM reported.

According to a fishball vendor who witnessed the incident, the man appeared to be waiting for a ride when four men in two motorcycles suddenly appeared and repeatedly shot the victim.

The witness said that one of the suspects even approached the victim to check if he was already dead before the group fled from the scene.

Investigators from the Makati City Police have recovered from the crime scene six shells from a 9mm pistol.
