The northeast monsoon or amihan will affect extreme northern Luzon, while the easterlies will affect the rest of the country, the weather bureau said in its Sunday morning forecast.
Mindanao, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, and Palawan would experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to easterlies, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its 4 a.m. bulletin.
Pagasa said Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands would have cloudy skies with scattered rains but due to amihan.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms, the agency added. /cbb
