A 21-year-old student believed to be distributing illegal drugs in private schools and upscale communities was collared by Quezon City police on Thursday.
The Quezon City Police District’s drug enforcement unit nabbed Mikey Gealogo Santos in a drug bust around 11:45 p.m. at a gas station at the corner of Aurora Boulevard and Balete Drive in Barangay Doña Mariana.
Seized from Santos were 10 sachets of kush or high-grade marijuana, with a street value of at least P25,000.
Police said an informant tipped authorities on the illegal activities of Santos, who was a resident of Barangay Old Zaniga in Mandaluyong City.
Chief Supt. Guillermo Eleazar, district director, said the drug was believed to have been smuggled in the country from India, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
