MMDA issues advisory on weekend road repairs in Quezon City

Some major roads in Quezon City will undergo reblocking and repair works over the weekend, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) advised motorists on Friday.

In an advisory, the MMDA said the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will conduct road reblocking and repairs starting 11 p.m. on Friday, January 19, until 5 a.m. on Monday, January 22.

The MMDA advised motorists to avoid the following roads and take alternative routes instead:

-A. Bonifacio Avenue from Bulusan St. to Calavite St., Quezon City (middle lane and inner lane)

Northbound:
-Visayas Avenue North Bound in front of NFA, Quezon City (inner lane)
-EDSA North Bound from Howmart to Oliveros (fifth lane)
-Congressional Avenue Extension, Miranilla Gate, Quezon City (third lane)
-Bonifacio Monumento Circle, Caloocan City
-C.P. Garcia Avenue from P. Castañeda St. to Pook Aguinaldo St., Quezon City (intermittent, second lane)
-Congressional Avenue from EDSA to Cagayan, Quezon City (first lane)
-Quirino Highway near Sacred Heart of Jesus, Quezon City (Inner lane) /jpv
