The tail-end of a cold front would bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the Mimaropa region, Bicol region, the Visayas, and Mindanao, the weather bureau said in its Monday morning forecast.
The residents of Sorsogon, Masbate, Romblon, Palawan, the Visayas, and Mindanao were advised to take extra precautions for possible flooding and landslides caused by moderate to heavy rain, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its 4 a.m. bulletin
Cloudy skies with scattered rain, meanwhile, would prevail over the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, and the rest of the Bicol region brought by the northeast monsoon.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain that was also brought by the northeast monsoon, Pagasa said. /cbb
