‘Electrical failure’ greets 300 MRT passengers on Monday

The Metro Rail Transit (MRT) Line 3 suffered an early morning glitch in Quezon City on Monday, affecting 300 passengers.
According to MRT-3 advisory, it unloaded its commuters at the southbound section of GMA – Kamuning station due to “electrical failure” at 5:09 a.m.

The electrical problem was caused by “worn out electrical sub-components,” the report said.
Passengers were transferred to a different train 10 minutes later. /cbb
