Villasis town fiesta
Residents of Villasis in Pangasinan province celebrate the town’s weeklong fiesta. Festivities include a parade, balikbayan night and zumba party.

Kaisa Festival
The city of Tarlac in Tarlac province pays homage to its patron St. Sebastian on the second year of Kaisa Festival. Activities include a job fair, zumba party, street dance, a grand float parade and a trade fair featuring Tarlac’s food products and arts and crafts.
Jan. 15 to 21
Santo Niño Ati-Atihan Festival
A festival in Kalibo, Aklan province, in honor of the Santo Niño. The term “Ati-Atihan” means “to be like Atis.” The Atis, or Aetas, were the indigenous people who first settled on Panay Island, where Aklan is located. Participants are covered in soot and clad in colorful costumes, while dancing to rhythmic tribal dances.
