SAN PEDRO CITY—A private van caught fire in Sta. Rosa City in Laguna province, slowing down traffic on the south-bound lane of the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) Saturday morning.

Randolph Perez, an operator from the Manila Toll Expressway Systems Inc. (MATES), the SLEX operator, said the incident happened around 9:30 a.m. prompting a MATES firetruck to respond.
