Davao Central College grad tops criminologist licensure exams

A Davao Central College graduate emerged as the topnotcher in the Criminologist Licensure Examinations given by the Board of Criminology last December, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Friday.

John Denvert R. Sanoria of Davao Central College led the top ten passers with a rating of 89.50 percent, the PRC said in the results.

Tarlac State University also led the exam’s top performing schools after it registered passing rate of 98.21%, with 55 out of 56 takers making the cut.

The PRC announced that 13,025 out of 769 examinees passed the licensure examinations, posting a national passing rate of 35.68%.

The registration for the issuance of professional identification cards and certificates of registration would be conducted from January 23 to February 9. The registration would be done on-line via www.prc.gov.ph.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees would be announced later, the PRC said.
