DID YOU KNOW: Cases of measles nationwide

Of the 251 confirmed cases of measles nationwide from Jan. 1 to Dec. 2, 2017, eight were from the National Capital Region. Three cases were recorded in Manila while one case each was recorded in Caloocan, Makati, Muntinlupa, Parañaque and Quezon City. The Zamboanga Peninsula Region had the highest number of measles cases with 135, followed by the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao with 54 cases. —Marielle Medina
