Three weather systems are affecting the country, the state weather bureau said Wednesday.

The northeast monsoon in Northern Luzon will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain over Ilocos Norte, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Aurora, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

The rest of the Ilocos Region and Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies due to the same weather system.

The easterlies — warm winds blowing from the Pacific Ocean — will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain or thunderstorms over Cebu, Bohol, Siquijor, Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and the Davao Region.

Cloudy skies with scattered rains or thunderstorms are also expected over Quezon and Bicol Region due to the tail-end of a cold front.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms, Pagasa said. /cbb
