RAMON, Isabela — A 36-year-old fried chicken vendor was shot and killed at the local market in Purok 3, Barangay Bugallon Proper, on Tuesday, police said.
Zaldy Baybado, 36, was eating noodles inside a restaurant at 9 a.m. when one of two men on a motorcycle shot him three times at close range, said Chief Insp. Lord Wilson Adorno, Ramon police chief.

Forensic investigators found four empty shells and four cartridge cases fired from a 9mm pistol at the crime scene.
Baybado’s body was brought to the Cadiz Funeral Homes in San Mateo town. Investigators have not yet determined the reason for the attack. /cbb
