Immigration officers clear Mikey Arroyo for trip to US
MANILA, Philippines—Immigration officers have cleared Ang Galing Pinoy party-list Representative Juan Miguel “Mikey” for his trip to the US and was waiting at the boarding gate for his Philippine Airlines flight.
Arroyo, who arrived at 8:50 p.m., refused to answer queries from members of the media who were waiting for him at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2.
Arroyo, sans VIP treatment, went through the normal security checks at the airport and fell in line to personally pay his terminal fee.
He checked in for his Philippine Airlines business class flight to San Francisco, scheduled to depart at 10:30 p.m.
