2 killed, 3 hurt in Pangasinan motorcycle crashes
DAGUPAN CITY—Two motorcycle riders were killed while three others were injured in two separate road accidents in Pangasinan province on Friday (December 5) and Saturday(December 6), police said.
Erwin Malabanan, 33, died after his motorcycle collided with another motorcycle at 1:45 a.m. Saturday in Barangay (village) Mancup at Calasiao town.
Investigators said Malabanan had just left his house and was about to merge with traffic along the northbound lane of the road when a motorcycle hit him.
The riders of the other motorycle, Jose Allah Argoso, 25, and Jerry Pedere, 21, were hurt.
In Bayambang town, Buenaventura Sibayan, 53, was killed when his motorcycle crashed on the shoulder of the eastbound lane of a village road in Barangay Sapang at 11:50 p.m.Friday.
His backrider, Bernardo Sibayan, 64, suffered bruises. They were taken to the Bayambang District Hospital, where a doctor declared Buenaventura dead on arrival due to head injuries.
