’73 Miss U titlist, ex-CIDG chief are Duterte’s new appointees

Miss Universe 1973 title holder Margie Moran was appointed as member of the board of trustees of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP).

President Rodrigo Duterte signed Moran’s appointment paper on January 4.

The beauty queen is the ex-wife of Davao del Norte Representative Antonio “Tonyboy” Floirendo Jr.

Duterte also appointed former police Director Benjamin Magalong as member of the board of directors of the Philippine National Oil Company (PNOC).

The appointment paper of Magalong, who was a former chief of the PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, was also signed on January 4. /jpv
