Tourism Central Visayas exec resigns

CEBU CITY—Just four months after he was appointed tourism chief for Central Visayas, Joshua Judd Lanete II has resigned from his post citing health reasons.

Lanete was appointed regional director of the Department of Tourism in Central Visayas (DOT-7) in August 2017.

Sources, who declined to be named since they had no authority to speak over the matter, said Shahlimar Tamano of the DOT Head Office would arrive in Cebu tomorrow to serve as officer-in-charge.

There were no further information regarding Lanete’s resignation. Lanete replaced the late Catalino Chan III who passed away in March 2017
