MASBATE CITY – A landslide hit two parts of a road in Viga town in Catanduanes province on Wednesday morning, police report said.

Authorities said heavy rain in the province caused soil to loosen and cascade down a road in Barangay P. Vera, which has become impassable, affecting vehicles traveling between Viga and Virac.
