LEGAZPI CITY — Waist-deep flood has forced the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) in Casiguran town in Sorsogon province to evacuate families from low-lying villages Wednesday.

At least 68 families from the villages of Boton, Sta. Cruz, Trece Martires, and Rizal were evacuated as non-stop heavy rain caused rivers to swell, according to Luisito H. Mendoza, Casiguran MDRRM officer.
