DID YOU KNOW: 2M OFWs as of September 2016

According to the latest 2016 Survey on Overseas Filipinos, the number of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who worked anytime from April to September 2016 was estimated at 2.2 million.

The National Capital Region has the second biggest share of OFWs at 12.9 percent, or estimated 288,000, followed by Calabarzon at 21 percent, or 462,000 workers. —Marielle Medina
