Palace hints of another gov’t exec on chopping block

Another top-level official will be relieved from a government position this week, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said on Monday.

“Isang tao na naman po ang sisibakin ni Presidente (Another one will be relieved by the President),” Roque said over an interview with dzBb.

“Top level, wala namang low level na sisibakin si Presidente,” he added.

Roque, however, opted not to answer the question when asked for a glimpse on the identity of the official.

The Palace spokesperson said that the announcement will be made during a press briefing on Jan. 3. /jpv
