On the first day of 2018, a Metro Rail Transit-3 (MRT-3) train greeted passengers with a glitch.

According to MRT-3 advisory, it offloaded 300 southbound commuters at the Guadalupe station at 12:18 p.m. due to an “electrical failure.”

The electrical problem was caused by “worn out electrical sub-components,” the report said.

Affected passengers were then loaded on a different train seven minutes after. /cbb
