/ 08:24 AM December 30, 2017

The tail-end of a cold front will affect the eastern section of southern Luzon and the Visayas, while northeast monsoon or amihan will affect northern and central Luzon, the weather bureau said on Saturday morning.

The Bicol Region, Eastern and Central Visayas and the Caraga Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the cold front, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its 4 a.m. weather forecast.

Pagasa said the Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora and Quezon, Metro Manila, the Ilocos Region, the rest of Central Luzon and the rest of CALABARZON will experience cloudy skies with isolated rains due to amihan.

The rest of the country, meanwhile, will be affected by localized thunderstorms. /cbb
