A tricycle driver wanted for alleged indiscriminate firing on Christmas day was arrested in Manila on Wednesday for not wearing a shirt.

Supt. Rolando Gonzales, chief of Abad Santos police station in Tondo, identified the suspect as Angelo Robles, 40, a.k.a Kid.

“The firearm used by the suspect (for indiscriminate firing) last Dec. 25, 2017 was not recovered. However, four pieces of live ammunition (for) .38-caliber revolver was recovered in his possession,” Gonzales said.

He said that Robles’s immediate violation was lack of upper garment, which is punishable under a city ordinance.

The indiscriminate firing case stemmed from the complaint filed by another tricycle driver Renz John Ponce, 21, who claimed that Robles poked a gun at him before shooting in the air at about 1:30 p.m. on Juan Luna St. corner Raxabago St.. —Aie Balagtas See
