Senate President Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III registered a new personal record-high net satisfaction rating in the fourth quarter of 2017, according to a Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.
According to the survey conducted from December 8 to 16, 62% of Filipinos were satisfied with Pimentel’s performance while 13% were dissatisfied.
His net satisfaction ratings were up by 3 points from his previous personal record of 46% (60% satisfied and 14% dissatisfied) in September 2017, data released Wednesday night showed.
Pimentel’s ratings surged in Mindanao by 16 points, 5 points in Metro Manila, and 5 points in the Visayas, the SWS said. However, he was down by 6 points in Luzon.
The Senate President’s ratings stayed “good” in Metro Manila at +49, “good” in Luzon at +39, “very good” in Visayas at +56, and “very good” in Mindanao at +61, according to the polling firm.
The surge in Pimentel’s ratings occurred in urban areas, among class Es, among men, and among those 55 years old and above, the SWS said. In addition, the senator’s ratings stayed “good” but had a double-digit gain among non-elementary school graduates.
The survey was conducted from December 8 to 16 using face-to-face interviews of 1,200 adults nationwide (300 each for Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao), the SWS said.
The polling body said the survey had a margin of error of ±3% nationwide, ±4% for Luzon, and ±6% each for Metro Manila, the Visayas and Mindanao. /cbb
